Lids
Lids are limitations or barriers that are tied to our perception of what we believe is achievable in life. We strive to make our dreams a reality but then often run into Lids. In this book, Leah Chilengwe draws upon lessons from her personal experiences, as a reference point for exploring and identifying the Lids in our lives that keep us stuck in unacceptable situations and/or relationships. Leah articulates how Lids can slow or even hinder us from realising our purpose. It is in identifying these Lids that we can crack the “glass ceilings” in our lives.
With years of experience speaking to both businesses and individuals, Leah founded her ministry Life with Leah out of a passion to see people embrace their core identity, so they can live authentic lives. Leah is also the author of her debut book ‘All Grown Up’.
All Grown Up
Some of the most common phrases we hear in today’s social commentary are “we must all find our purpose” or “live your authentic self.” All Grown Up attempts to breakdown these seemingly big phrases, by taking the story of one person. Leah outlines the journey of her battle to try and find acceptance by trying to fit in. It details how she discovered who she was and in turn found what she was purposed to do. Leah has found her place and the joy in doing what she loves.

The Honest Discussion is a space provided for the Life with Leah tribe to get together and pull from their life experiences; (some funny some not so funny) and share them within The Honest Discussion community.
Nothing is wasted in life I was once told and so the podcast aims to to pass on lessons, to help uplift, teach and support others. The podcast tells stories I have experienced but also, some I have been told.
